Urban Decay - All Nighter Makeup Setting Spray

How can one product make my makeup look 10 times better?!

I have combination skin so I find that certain areas of my makeup will disappear quicker than others. I began using a primer and noticed that my makeup would last a little longer than it would if I wasn't using it but it still wasn't lasting as long as I wanted it to. It wasn't until I went round to my best friend Holly’s house to have our makeup done that I heard about the product. I told her that I struggle to make my makeup to last. She recommended using the Urban Decay - All Nighter Makeup Setting Spray.

Whilst I was on holiday in France, I asked Holly if she would pick it up for me when she was next in town. The main reason for buying it was so that my makeup would last for prom. I used the Loreal Paris True Match foundation (another amazing foundation) so it wasn't too heavy on my face. I then sprayed this over the top to set it in place and couldn't believe how nice it looked. It gave my skin a really nice glow and made my skin look really healthy.

I only have the travel sized version but will definitely buy the full sized version as I believe it is so worth it! I find that it locks my makeup in place all day and helps to add a radiant glow to my makeup. I honestly love this and can’t recommend this spray enough. Everyone needs this!

Have you used this setting spray? What did you think of it?

Thanks for reading and I hope you enjoyed

Boots Haul

As a little treat for starting sixth form, I decided that I was going to make a boots order. It originally started with the fact that I had nearly finish one of my Carmex lip balms. I noticed an offer for 3 for 2 so I couldn't resist.

The first thing I looked at was the Simple Pore Minimising Toning Cleanser. I remove my makeup with a wipe before I go in the shower and then I will use a cleanser whilst in there to remove the excess makeup. I’ve now started taking my makeup off when as soon as I get in from school as I prefer to relax and feel free to rub my eyes without the fear of smudging it all across my face. I still use the wipe but follow with the toning cleanser to remove the excess which the wipe left behind. So far, I have seen an improvement in my skin as my spots have began clearing up.

Whilst I was looking at skincare, I noticed the Simple Deep Cleansing Face Mask. This sounded very appealing as my skin is suffering at the moment so thought I would give it a try. It applies like a moisturiser which I wasn't expecting. You leave it on for 3 mins (I left it longer as I went in the shower and washed my hair first) and then washed it off. I have only used it once but I love the fact it is so quick and simple.

If you have been reading my blog for a while, you will know my love for Carmex Lip Balms. I wont go into detail as I have done a whole post on it here.

Finally, I managed to get my hands on the Rimmel Lasting Finish Kate Moss Nude Lipstick - 45. As you know, I love a good nude! I already own a Kate Moss lipstick and I love it so knew I was going to love this collection. However.com, every time I went in or looked online, it was out of stock. As I was looking though, it came up as a suggestion as the bottom. The shade 45 was actually in stock so obviously I added it and I love it. It is a perfect match to my lips which I wasn't expecting. I thought it was going to be darker even though I wanted a more everyday lipstick. This is exactly that but allows a change from lip balm which is what I normally go for. The swatches haven't been edited so you can see exactly how the products looks on me.

Have you tried any of these products? What do you think?

Thanks for reading and I hope you enjoyed

Kiko Cosmetics Eyeshadow - 129

A couple of weeks ago, I was walking past Kiko and thought that I would pop in even though it was really busy - daft idea I know!

I look all around and nothing caught my eye except this eye shadow. This is the Kiko eyeshadow in shade 129. There wasn't any on display but luckily that had some in the drawers.

It is such a pretty eyeshadow and can be use on top of any eyeshadow to give it that extra sparkle which is something that I love as I find it really brightens the eye. The bonus was that it was fairly cheap to begin with and then when I got to the till, it had been reduced so I was a happy gal!

It is similar to one of the shades in the collection eyes uncovered nude palette in shade buttercream as they both give that extra highlight shade over another shadow or can be work by itself for a more natural look.

Have you tried and Kiko products?

P.S. I was thinking about doing a Q&A post in the next couple of weeks if you wanted this so please leave questions below and I will answer them. If you have any suggestions of posts as well, please feel free to leave them below at any point.

Rimmel Colour Rush Balm - Not An Illusion

I bought this product from Boots a few weeks ago and have been trying it out. I had nearly finished my Soap and Glory gloss stick so thought I would try something different rather go for the same thing again.

I was just walking round looking for something similar and came across these. I wanted a neutral colour but a something that would enhance my lips as well. That’s when I came across this! It is the Rimmel Colour Rush Balm in 700 - Not An Illusion. Whereas the Soap and Glory product adds the shine a subtle hint of colour, this adds the colour as well as the gloss which is exactly what I wanted.

The colour is a pinky-coral shade which goes well with anything in the summer but I wouldn't wear it in autumn due to the fact it is fairly bright and draws attention to your lips. You could wear this if you blotted some of the colour away and then added a lip balm over the top so it wasn't as intense.

However, I would recommend this as it has a really nice formula and scent to it and I’m hoping to add a few more colours to my collection.

Have you tried the colour rush balms? What colour is your favourite?

Thanks for reading and I hope you enjoyed

P.S. I have only cropped these photos so you can see exactly how they look on me and the true colour.
