5 Things To Do This Summer

As we are now officially in Summer and the school holidays approaching, more people are going to be trying to find something to keep busy. I have come up with a few ideas which may lead to some of the best memories of the Summer.

1. Picnic with Friends/Family
You can't really go wrong with a picnic as a large group of people can meet up, have a laugh with a few games whilst enjoying the weather (providing it's sunny!) This can be a really cheap way to meet up and do something without having to spend a fortune of food.

2. Road Trip
If you feel as if you need to have a break then why not go to a different city or the beach for the day and see something different. Travelling is something that I love to do so this would be the perfect excuse without going abroad but still being able to get away.

3. Mini Festival
If you're into your music then why not see if there are any mini festivals happening near you. It gives you the chance to listen to some new music whilst being around people. I love the atmosphere that a festival/music event has and some of my funniest and favourite memories are from them.

4. Camping
Camping is something that either people love or they hate. Providing you're with a good bunch of people, the weather is good and you're not at the top of a massive hill, you're generally alright. You can sit there telling stories whilst sat under the stars with the people who mean most to you and you're guaranteed to have amazing memories and stories to share with people.

5. BBQ
You can't have Summer come around and not have at least one BBQ. I love the smell in the evening being able to sit outside with friends/family and smell the food cooking on the BBQ from each household. This is a true definition of Summer!

Have you got anything planned for the Summer?

Gift Ideas For Father's Day

As today is Father's Day I thought that I would gather a few gift ideas incase you're struggling.

1. Driving Experience
If your Dad is into fast cars or is a bit of a 'petrol head' then this is a great gift for him to receive. You are able to choose either a package for them to drive cars of their choice or book them to drive a specific car. Either way, I'm sure he will love it!

2. Personalised Gifts
This is a gift that can really crafted to them and add that personal touch. This is something that can be done on the day if you have been really struggling. If you were to have something engraved, you may have to hold on to the idea and save it for next year as it can take some time to be done.

3. Baking
Baking can be a really personal touch. It is a quick and easy way of creating something in a short space of time. A really simple idea would be some chocolate cornflake cakes as they require no cooking so anyone can do them. The only problem is trying not to eat them whilst you're making them!

4. Cooking a Meal
If you're on a budget you could always offer to cook dinner as a token gift rather than buying something. Seeing as it is Sunday, a roast could be on the cards so why not offer to peel the potatoes?

Have you already sorted your gift? How are you going to be spending Father's Day?

Soap & Glory Solar Powder Bronzer Review

I've had this bronzer for a few years now and over the past few months I have been reaching for it everyday since my tan has been fading to keep that summer healthy glow.

My face is always the first place that tans but also the first place I begin to lose it. I think this is because of applying makeup and removing it as well as cleansing.
I love the look of a really glowy, radiant and tanned skin when you come back from holiday but after a few weeks when the tan begins to fade, I find that bronzers help to keep the balance between your chest and face.

The fact that there are 2 sides allows control to how light or dark you want to go with the bronzer but I find that if I swirl my brush in both, I get the perfect shade. However, the pearlescent 'S&G' doesn't last as after the first use as it disappears so I don't really understand  why they have added it. If thats the part that has been putting you off, then don't let it. The only thing that is annoying is that the lighter side hits pan first rather than equally and I have found that it crumbles so do be careful.

I can understand why people love this product so much as it really is an amazing bronzer and the price makes it really affordable as it is only £11. I have only just bought my second one just because I am using it more often and really wouldn't want to be without it.

Have you tried this bronzer before? If you have, what do you think of it?

A Few Days In Newquay

Tuesday morning was a very early start as I was up at 4:30 am ready to leave at 5 to head to Newquay. This was a bit of a struggle as I am definitely not a morning person!

We were there for a few days and visited a few of the local shops and beaches which was really nice as we got to spend time together as a family.

We went our for dinner on the first night and as we were walking back we were able to see an amazing sunset which made everywhere look pink despite the photos looking orange but hey ho!

It was a really relaxed and chilled break which was needed by all of us and we really enjoyed it.

Have you been anywhere recently? Have you ever been to Newquay?

Thanks for reading and I hope you enjoyed
