Vaseline Intensive Care Essential Spray Moisturiser

Since coming back off holiday, my skin has been really dry, especially on my legs. I needed something that wouldn't react with my skin as my skin is sensitive. This means that I am careful which body lotions and moisturisers I use in case I have a reaction.

I saw this new spray moisturiser from Vaseline that you can directly spray. This means that you can cover the area much quicker and do not use too much product. You do have to rub it in once you have applied it but it dries within seconds so you aren't left waiting for ages for your moisturiser to soak in.

I have the yellow bottle which doesn't really have a scent which is a bonus as you don't start smelling like a concoction of different scents all over you. This is a real bonus and would really recommend this product. However, it is £6.59 at full price so make sure you have a look or get it on offer otherwise it can get quite expensive!

Have you tried this moisturiser? Which one is your favourite?

Corfu Travel Diary 2017

I have been lucky enough in order to be able to go on another holiday this year. This time was to the Greek island of Corfu. I stayed in the beautiful Villa Jolie in the town of Roda along with 9 others.

Our week involved a large amount of diving practise, swimming, going in the sea, quad biking and going in the sea. Needless to say, the week was eventful with lots going on. I really enjoyed Corfu and the town we stayed in but would love to see more of the island and the other towns.

I'll leave a few photos below so you can see what we were up to during the week.

Thanks for reading and I hope you enjoyed

Start of Something New?

At the end of last weeks post I said to be prepared for something a little different!

If you have been here for a while, you may know that when I go travelling or visit somewhere I don't usually visit that often, I will do a 'Travel Diary' post. This helps to give you an idea of what the place is like. However, something that maybe you won't know is that I always make a video of that particular place as well. What I'm trying to say is that I am uploading my first 'vlog' to YouTube as the same time as this post goes live!

I'd love it if you went on over and gave the video a watch and why not leave a comment as well to let me know if you want to have a bit of both (Travel Diary Post and Vlog) and liked the video. Not only do you get an idea of my personality, but you also get another, more creative side to me.

I hope you enjoy this new little addition to Vintag3r0se and let me know in the comment section of this post what you think.

Thanks for reading and I hope you enjoyed

What to do in Amsterdam?

I was thinking of a post to do this week and then came up with this. I would have loved to have had a simple list of things that I needed to do whilst I was there. So I thought, why not just make one?

1. Anne Frank House
If you are interested in learning more about what happened in Amsterdam during WW2 then it is a must to go and see. In fact, even if you aren't, still go and have a look as there is so much to learn not only what happened, but also gives you perspective and helps you to learn about yourself as a person and not to take things for granted... especially freedom!

2. I Amsterdam Sign
There are 2 signs that you can visit. The first is as you arrive at Schipol Aiport outside the main doors. The second is near the Van Gogh museum. Even though it can get quite busy, we managed to get a couple of good pictures as well as the word 'DAM' with each of us in for a photo. It is a very tourist thing to do, but can make for some great photos!

3. Canal Cruise
This is the best way to see Amsterdam and the canals from a different perspective and the quickest. You can either get a hop on and hop off pass for 24 hours that allows you to see both the canal and the area when you stop off. The other option is to get a 1 hour cruise and see the main areas along the canal whilst being told more about the history of the city.

I hope this have given you a very brief overview of the things to do in Amsterdam if you are only there for a couple of days and want to do the main places. Be prepared next week for a little surprise on the blog and something a little different to normal!

Amsterdam Travel Diary 2017

As you may have seen from my twitter, I have been in Amsterdam this past week. I went with 3 others so 4 in total and had an amazing time exploring the city. We were able not only to explore the city but also learn more about it and the way that Anne Frank had to live in order to stay hidden.

The Anne Frank Museum was a truly eye-opening experience as you are able to experience such a tiny aspect of what the families had to do in order to keep each other safe and hidden. Not only that, you can actually walk through the exact rooms, walk through the bookcase door as well as up the stairs that they did. They have made such a brilliant tribute to not only Anne, but all of the family and friends involved.

We were able to not only walk along the side of the canal and the streets but also able to see the city from a different perspective from a canal ride. The audio tour helped to explain the history of the city as well as small interesting details about the buildings you probably wouldn't have known.

Anyway, enough rambling! To cut a long story short, I didn't want to come home and definitely want to return! I can actually see myself living there which is something that doesn't happen often when I visit places. This trip will definitely stay with my a lifetime!
